Bijon performs as part of the Kennedy Center Honors Orchestra

It was an absolute thrill to perform as part of the Kennedy Center Honors Orchestra for the 40th Annual Kennedy Center Honors! I was able to put my Classical/Commercial chops to work in a great section that included the fantastic Tony Kadleck. The live taping took place on December 3rd and the national telecast will be on December 26th at 8pm on CBS.

As the Artistic Director of Jazz, for Laguna Beach Live!, I am thrilled to announce that the lineup for the Winter 2018 Jazz Wednesdays Series has been announced! I have assembled an exceptional mix of great talent that consists of some familiar favorites of the series, as well as some new artists, and some all-star tributes to iconic jazz musicians. Thrilled to be on 2 Grammy-Nominated Albums in 2017!

Well it's official! I am thrilled to have performed on 2 Grammy-nominated albums this year! On John Beasley's "Monkestra Vol. 2," and Michael Buble's latest release "Nobody But Me" I am honored, and looking forward to attending the nominees reception in New York City on January 27th as well as the Grammy Awards Ceremony on January 28th.
